Hi I don't know if this has already been discussed here, if so, forgive me...
When I create more than one rule to move messages to their respective folders as soon as they are received (using "from" to define the rule), I have noticed that ALL the messages already received but still marked as UNREAD become READ automatically. In other words, if I already have one subfolders containing UNREAD messages, they become READ as soon as another rule is added. the two rules are the same, they simply move messages from the "Inbox" to specified folders based on sender's email address and this happens as soon as I add a second rule (with a different sender of course). If only one rule is define, everything works fine and the message is moved where it should be. This happens to Entourage 2004 working with an Exchange server and the folders resides of the server, I haven't tried with POP mail yet.
