Heya, we saw this quite a bit using Griffin USB-ADB adapters in combination
with other Griffin devices under certain conditions, generally when awaking
from sleep. Not sure if you're using such an adapter, but I thought I'd
mention it. It was really scary when it would happen to a user; the user
would typically panic and not think logically about what to do. Simply
disconnecting the keyboard cable was what was required. Pressing another key
works, but the key-repeat installs hundreds of keystrokes into the buffer,
and even then, the delete key may still be "stuck", so unplugging the
keyboard kills the buffering.
