Diane, With an SSL connection to the SMTP server, would the password be sent "in the clear"? To me, it appears that virtually all the SSL traffic, including the login sequence, is scrambled. Also, you suggested that I use the xxxx option, which is exactly what it's set to (see my settings, above). Did I misunderstand, and there is a different setting I should try?
