All, Page 6, Office:mac, Working with Exchange Server states that Entourage 2004 and Mac Outlook 2001 both have "Similar" "100% same experience as using Outlook on a Windows-based computer"
Whatever "similar" means, public calendars don't seem to work. (http://www.entourage.mvps.org/exchange/faqs.html) Is mvps.org correct that public calendars don't work in Entourage 2004? They also don't work in Entourage X. Public calendar entries appear as individual mail messages. Is that what they mean by "similar"? Is there a way to make public calendar data show up in a calendar view and not as individual mail messages? Our god forbid I can transfer an entry in a public calendar to my personal calendar (both work in Windows Outlook) I suppose the change of getting a version of Entourage that has feature parity with Outlook is zero, right? ("Similar" seems to be all MS is willing to do for the Mac platform) Sincerely, Paul Ericson Sonntag, MCSE NT4, MCSE W2K, Exchange Server, Proxy Server, Net+, CCNA Senior Instructor Herzing College Madison, WI 608-663-0819 -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
