Others might not think so, but Entourage
is especially a reason to do the upgrade IMHO.

Entourage 2004 is interesting if you really need the Project Center.
For the rest, except some welcome addition in the way yoiur mail can be displayed there isn't that much of a change.

It is quite the same as v.X.
I don't find it slower than v.X, except when I consult my "Sent folder" (26000 items) it takes a hell of a time to get out of that folder once Im in. That wasn't the case with Entourage X. That's an annoying but minor issue.

The software is still great and one of the best e-mail client for the Mac. It has some features that Mail.app will have only next year (like the dynamic folders).

But it is still stuck in the early 2000
A time when there was no bluetooth phone or iPod (to export your calendar and contact), no iLife (you can't access iPhoto's library to add picture to you mail straight away), you can't personnalize the toolbar like any modern Mac app can (even a non Cocoa app like Excel or Word knows how to do it).

Many of those lacks will find a solution when Tiger ships (at least for the compatibilty with iSync) but who knows if it will be added to Entourage 2004 as a simple upgrade or if we'll need to wait for Office 2006....
