I need a little assistance with Entourage for Mac...

Whenever I want to send a new e-mail address and click on the "New"
message button, a new message window opens with a smaller window that
immediately follows. The smaller window lets me select the e-mail address I
want to use. When I type in the first few letters of the name I'm
addressing to, a short list of e-mail addresses pops up. I can select the
address from that list, and the whole process works very nicely EXCEPT...
That list of e-mail addresses contains a bunch of old e-mail addresses,
ones that are no longer valid. This can be very confusing, because I
usually can't remember which of those several addresses is valid. When I go
to the contact in the Address Book (in Entourage), the only e-mail address
there is the one that's in that contact. I have previously deleted the old
ones, but they keep appearing in the new mail window (as described above).
Here's my question: how can I get those old addresses purged out of the
new mail list that's trying to help me select the address for a new mail
message? I can't figure this out (obviously). The old addresses are not in
the contact.

Any help or suggestions from anyone will be appreciated.

    Thanks!

        Greg Titus
