I took the precaution, way back when I adapted it for OS X back in OS 10.1, to use Unicode text rather than "string", so the current version 1.1.1 available from MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> works fine with Entourage 2004. Don't forget you can add keyboard shortcuts if you want: see "About the script menu" in Entourage Help to find out how. However, it's not going to help at all with HTML messages, since the script replaces the HTML with plain text. I think you must be remembering this wrongly: you won't get HTML this way. I could adjust the script such that you could edit just the subject - not the content - and then HTML could be preserved. However, I've now discovered that the script doesn't work at all with IMAP messages, due to a bug, or limitation, in Entourage scripting for IMAP. I think that this must always have been the case, but it's certainly the case in Entourage 2004. I think I can work around this by not replacing the original message in the "Received messages" by the edited one. (I'm not quite sure why I did that.) It might take a little while to make all these adjustments. In particular, I think the script will need to ask you - when you run it on an HTML message - if you want to just edit the subject and preserve the HTML - or also edit the content and thus lose the HTML. I'll make the former the default so you can press Enter or Return quickly. Look out for v1.2 soon. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP MacOffice Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/index.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using - **2004**, X or 2001.
