But I goofed too. Subfolders of Sent Items folders don't work - only
official Sent Items folder (with a special icon) in "On My Computer" and
IMAP/Hotmail/Exchange accounts.

This is bad, in my opinion. I imagine that it's a trade-off: Entourage
might be saving time in not checking whether every message is a sent message
or received message. It's possible that doing the check for every message of
a large folder would slow down the display and people would complain. Or
maybe it was only the program managers and developers saving the time needed
to do the work - it's hard to know.

Please request this feature via Help/Send Feedback. The more people request
a feature, the more likely it is to be implemented next time. This applies
to everyone who wants this - or any - feature...

PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using -
