I have Entourage v.X on Jaguar (both updated) and Im using Entourage to connect to my Exchange Server (2000). So far, things have been serene and Ive been making wonderful use of the Categories feature, in my regular POP mail, with Exchange, and with the IMAP Hotmail Service. Well, all of a sudden, it seems that all mail that is coming into one particular email address through my Exchange server is getting auto-associated to a category (I actually have several email addresses coming though my Exchange Inbox, but only one address is affected). This isnt a huge deal, but its the Categories feature that I am using to separate work email from the Spam. Ive gone through my Rules and my Mailing List Manager where I have been using the Categories feature, and nothing seems to have changed there...
Does anyone have suggestions for another place to look to see why all emails associated with a specific address are getting Categorized? While I am asking, I do have one more proclivity that I should ask about. Periodically, I go into my Deleted Items (on my Exchange account) and sort out all emails with no category assigned and delete them all. Since I currently have not spam filtering, that is quite a few... Well, there are always some that remain, that can't be deleted (currently there are 165). I thought about using the "Empty Cache" feature on the Deleted items, but I don't want to lose the categories of the items that are in there (yes, I'm one of those that fears in permanently deleting their deleted items). :P Any thoughts or ideas about this (other than the Empty Cache feature)?
