1) There is a PC versions of Stuffit which can be downloaded from <http://www.stuffit.com/> 2) You can zip a file using Stuffit Deluxe at least and maybe even Stuffit. Additionally you can use the OS to zip a file. One way to do that is to use Terminal but it's a bit of a pain.
