Understood, thanks for the explanation. I am more talking "core"
performance. I don't have a single "project", no reminders in the calendar,
no tasks set up, a few notes, but I mean, well, they are just notes, I can
not imagine them doing much more. Heck, if it would help, I would simply
delete the notes and covert them into emails. Linking, correct, not much I
can do to not use that. So, in my case, I use E-rage for email, no
Exchange, nothing more. So, with all the stuff I do not use in Entourage,
things like pop connections take ages, When emails are going out, the app
gets sluggish, and this is on a dual 2, if a large email comes in and is
being rendered, I get the ball of death, just 20 jpg images can make e-rage
pretty un-usable for a short time, 20 jpgs in Safari is as you know, no
issue.

I guess what I am getting at is I feel it is slow at its core features,
excluding all the fancy stuff, which I simply don't use.

If it makes a difference, I would be happy as heck to see no new features
for 2 years, pure performance tuning and bug fixes.

Thanks again.
