Using Ent 2004 OS 10.3.7
A few days ago, I got a notice to update Entourage's junk mail filter. I clicked on that to download it. Then a number of things happened on my computer and I'm not sure the download completed. How can I check to see what version of junk mail filter I'm currently using. If it is outdated, how/where can I get the current one, since the automatic reminder is now gone. Thanks for your reply.

Check the version on this file:
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Junk E-mail Protection
(that is the only file that was changed)
It should, after the update, be showing Version 11.1.0
There should also be, in the same folder, a file called ‘Junk E-mail Filter Update Log’ to confirm the update was carried out.
If this doesn’t match, and the autoupdate doesn’t work, you should replace the file above with the original version on the installation CD and try the update again.
