My hopes for Spotlight + Entourage:

1. That I will be able to use spotlight to search individual emails  in the Entourage database.

2. That within entourage searching will now be near instant even with a relatively large database with tens of thousands of messages.

3. That within entourage I can search for multiple words or multiple partial words. (For example lets say I want to search for emails that contain the words Entourage and Spotlight. Right now if I type Entou into the search box I get emails with entourage but if I type entou spot I get nothing as it is actually searching for a string "entou spot".

My hopes for Tiger + Entourage:

1. That syncing with the system-wide address book will be seamless.

2. That syncing with ical will be seamless.

3. That outgoing image attachments are always shown as thumbnails.

4. That system-wide font smoothing prefs are respected in list items.

5. That I have an option to keep the translucent popup notification window present until I click it away.

6. That there is a better minimized view of the main window.

7. That exchange support is seamless including calendar issues.

8. That I'll be able to customize the toolbars and icons getting rid of stuff I never use.

9. That folders show the sum of all folders inside instead of being considered a separate folder.

10. That I never get one of those heartstopping 'you have to rebuild your database' messages.
