Hi Jack,

Type 3 errors are system errors which in OS 9 are frequently due to
insufficient Preferred memory assigned to the application in question.

Navigate to the Entourage 2001 application in the Finder, select it and Get
Info (Command> i). �Go to the Memory pane and raise Entourage 2001's
Preferred memory by 5000K.  If that doesn't do it, raise it again by another
5000K.� Leave Minimum memory at the default.

Post back if you have any problems.
