I've gotten my share of this lately too, and not just from Symantec.  The
spam filters are going way overboard on real messages, and still not getting
all the spam.  Sheesh.

I must say, something a little less restrictive, a little more trainable,
combined with broadband (so things download quickly) and a tad bit of
patience with the stuff that gets through is a lot better solution than
losing messages like yours.
