Thanks, that's a good idea. I'm beginning to think this is never going to be
solved!

Well, it didn't happen before I had Comcast.

No, that's not it - I had already thought of that. Almost all messages that
I receive for some period of time get downloaded again after they're
deleted. They come from many different ISPs.
