automated archiving of IMAP inbox

I can create a rule to move messages of a certain age where I would 
like them to go.

Is there a simple way of making a schedule to run a folder's messages 
through that rule on a regular basis?

The idea here is to take all IMAP messages of a given age & move them 
to a local folder.
