Barry, I think it probably works just fine for "reply" and "forward" but what these people are asking for is a way to automatically prefix "new" mail messages with the salutation "Hello [name]," at the top. In particular, Richard wants individual messages addressed personally to each of the members of his group address.
This is probably the domain of a script. I know I can create the personalized messages in Word using the mail merge function, but am not sure how to get each of these e-mailed out. Mail merging has long been a feature of the hardcopy world, so I am sure there is some script or 3rd party application to do it for the e-mail world. It is probably a good enhancement for the MBU to add to a future release of Entourage. Scripters, do you know of anything that will help Richard?
