One problem I had before that I thought would be fixed with this upgrade would be my categories assignment (my problem, not Entourages). I have all my messages for one particular email address (through exchange) coming through with a category assigned to them. I’m not sure how that happened, but it seemed that instead of categorizing from my address book, that all messages from that account were automatically categorized. It overrides all the sub categories I’ve created, so I lose color coding.
I’ve scoured Entourage looking for all areas where categories can be assigned and I can’t find where this would have happened. Could someone please let me know where this may be?
The only places I can think of are Address Book categorization and rules. Perhaps you have a rule that runs an AppleScript that is changing the category. Another possibility...are you forwarding your Exchange account to another email address? Perhaps the messages are receiving a category based on your Address Book entry?
