Just so all of the opinions expressed aren't completely one-sided, I agree with 
you Mike.  It is all well and good to have images turned off by default and I 
applaud MS for putting security first, but I see no reason not to include the 
option somewhere to download all images.  Protecting people is one thing; not 
allowing those who know better to decide for themselves is another.  If someone 
bothered to go into the settings to change the default then they do so at their 
own risk, but I know there are many times that I want or need to see images in 
an email from someone that I don't want in my Address Book.  
Wanting more options does not mean one doesn't take security seriously or 
recognize the need for it, which all the responses to Mike so far seem to have 
forgotten.

Wow. I think that's as lose as I've ever come to being flamed, but I do 
appreciate the perspective. Maybe I am being foolish, or na�ve. I thank you 
(and others) for the opportunity to think differently about images in email.
