That IS the only way to do it in Entourage 2001. If it didn’t work, it’s almost certainly because you didn’t copy from the MRU (most recently used) list *exactly*. See this FAQ: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq_topic/address_book.html>.

Seems I read somewhere that to delete them I have to PUT them in the address book exactly as they appear in the contact list and then delete them from the address book and that will delete them from the contact list. But I just tried that and it didn’t work.
