I've cracked it! That was just the clue I needed. I had LaunchBar set to
scan the Entourage Contacts database, which it does using a script. Bingo!
Since it didn't seem to be working anyway (certainly no Entourage contacts
were showing up), I turned it off, and Entourage is now behaving itself
again :)
