It is entirely possible that the rebuild tool will resurrect older emails.
The rebuild option should only be used if Entourage tells you that your
database is damaged. It doesn't serve the same purpose as a compact. We
really can't attempt to do a compact when doing a rebuild. The rebuild
assumes that the database structure is damaged, the compact assumes that the
structure is completely intact.
