If there was a Database Dameon running, then the database files were never closed and as a result, maybe Entourage found its way back to the old version even though it's in the Trash. Another possibility is that Entourage is not only keeping track of where the database is by folder and name but also by file ID (a Unix file structure thing). If so, when it found no database in the appropriate folder, it then tried to find it by the file ID. I'd suggest not trying to launch Entourage with no Main Identity file in place. I've never done that (not seeing a need to see an empty Entourage screen) and never had a problem. Trash the old, bring in the new, and launch has always worked for me. -- Larry Stone [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
