In general, does Entourage 2004 have less database corruption than Entourage X? Also, when rebuilding an Ent 2004 database, is the success rate better than Ent X?
We have continuing problems with Ent X and want to upgrade to Ent 2004 when the funds are available. The problems with Ent X database have been numerous (messages showing up as blank, errors when trying to open mail folders, not enough memory, and other problems). Every single time, rebuilding the database has solved the problems. Sometimes the rebuild will make the database larger than the corrupted original and sometimes I have to import the damaged database into Ent 2004 or Apple Mail, save MBOX files, then import back into Ent X.
