Michael -
You will have to install the Palm Desktop software that comes with the
device (on the CD). Other versions, according to Palm, are not
compatible with the Treo 650.
Aside from that, there may be some incompatibility issues with older
third-party software and/or conduits - as always, read the
documentation that comes with the Treo, and any support issues noted on
Palm's website.
Lastly, I do recommend Good Technology's GoodLink software. It is for
corporations using Exchange, however, but if this matches your usage it
comes highly recommended.
