I cannot remember all the details, the why and wherefore, but I
distinctly recall this happening to me several months ago and the advice I
got was to go to my Earthlink Webmail site and delete this particular spam
there. I only got one spam message that caused the beachball and once
removed from my Earthlink account, it never occurred again.
