There's quite a lot more that's new in SP2 AppleScript, in addition to much of the new Exchange features being scriptable (with quite a few new bugs). In particular, check out 'calculate recurring dates of' [event] for recurring events - tada! Also 'time zone' property of event (though it doesn't work for events made in Outlook for Exchange calendars).
