Hi,

I have been waiting for SP2 to see if the problems I used to have accessing
our corporate Exchange server at work would have been solved.
It's always been a matter of not being able to receive some kind of message,
for example receipts from PC users (requested with
notification-disposition-to) or messages coming from certain contacts.

So far, I have been working with Ent2004 and IMAP: this way each and every
message comes correctly.

Today I have installed SP2 and Entourage seems snappier.
I have then created the Exchange account automatically (with the wizard) and
the process went ok.
I left the (same) IMAP account in the identity - along with the new
"Exchange accunt" - to see if there were any difference between them, as far
as messages are concerned.

I checked each folder in the new "Exchange account".
I have several folders on the Exchange server (some nested) and - in the
"Exchange account" - there are a couple of folders which show LESS messages
than those on the server.

I double checked with the web access and the right number of messages is the
one reported by the IMAP account.
I have tried clearing the cache and also creating a new identity with the
Exchange account only and the (wrong) number of messages is always there.

It seems the "Exchange account" forgets some message on the server.
Beside using the wizard and configuring correctly the "network" preference
pane I was wondering if there is anything else I might try.

Many thanks for your kind attention.
Ciao
Carlo
