After installing SP2 (Entourage 2004; MacOS 10.4.2) I have started to experience fairly consistent problems in connecting to our IMAP server. I get either one of the following messages with regularity:
Connection to the server failed or was dropped. Error -17895 Or Trying to get mailbox lock from process ... Error 1025 Or (less frequently) Lost mailbox lock. Error: -2171 This is happening on three machines with regularity. I do not have mail processes left running on the IMAP server (that should cause the second error). Furthermore, the same setup was working well before the SP2 update, which causes me to suspect it as a cause. Is there anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions/pointers would be very welcome. -- M.
