I have posted this several times and places and have yet to find a
solution that works.
After installing the latest M/S Office 2004 update, when I wake my
computer from sleep, I get an Entourage <Progress> window announcing:
<Searching directory four11 Connecting to idap.four11.com> and the
spinning barber pole. It runs for three or four seconds and then
disappears.
Is there some way I can stop this, some change I make to Entourage so
this will not reoccur?
One suggestion I read somewhere was to go to Entourage Preferences >
Mail and News > Compose: and uncheck the boxes for <Automatically check
names when sending messages> & <Search directory services when addressing
messages>.
Did this: problem persists.
