When you use it, you put your spam problems on other people's plates. If you had to live with challenge - response for anything outside of spam, you'd never put up with it. But it is a good way to get rid of email traffic, esp. from mailing lists, as most listmoms will boot you right off a list when your challenge - response system commences to spamming the other list members, and they always do. -- I hate stupid people...how many times do I have to flush before they go away?
