I've been following the repeated hangs thread in hopes that someone could
help me with a similar problem.  Using Entourage (v. 11.2.1 on Mac OS 10.3.9
with the SP2 update and fix, IMAP),  most days I get an endless "connecting
to server" message after the program has been open for awhile.  The
"connecting to server" function freezes the email portion and will continue
until I eventually quit the program. Then, all changes I've made are lost.
Other times, it takes 2-7 minutes to reconnect.  I haven't been able to
discover any consistent pattern.  It seems to be getting worse over time
even though I've cleaned out my server folders.

I think it must have something to do with my Comcast connection since it
only happens at home.  At work where there's T1 line, I have no problems
with Entourage.
