I don't get this happening, Bill, and I have OS 10.4.3, and Entourage
11.2.1. I wonder if it's related to experiments you've been doing with
Microsoft Database Daemon? Go into System Preferences/Accounts/Login Items.
Is there more than one copy of Microsoft Database Daemon there? No matter
how many, remove them all. Log out, log in. Wait a few minutes, Does
Entourage launch by itself? (You have no cron jobs, nor scheduled
AppleScripts, directed at Entourage, right, nor at other apps that call
Entourage?) Launch Entourage. That will automatically put the correct Daemon
back into Login Items. Quit Entourage, wait a few minutes. Is it still
launching?

I do recall someone here or on the newsgroup reporting the same thing, but
it it is not endemic to 10.4.3 on its own - it's some other problem.

PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using -
**2004**, X or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions
otherwise.
