While there may be a problem with SB, I suspect a strictly Ent 2004 problem as well. If I launch Ent, the address card tabs can be selected just fine. However, after I select a Contextual Menu, with the ctrl key, the tabs become unselectable. (As an aside, when I call for a Contextual menu, the beach ball comes on for 15 secs on a Dual 2GHz G5).
For example, I do a Reply email, and note the address is not in my Address list, so I control click on it and select Add Contact (or simply Open an existing one). After this action, I can no longer select an address card tab and therefore can't edit the info. It's 100% repeatable on both a G5 and a Powerbook with OS X 10.4.3. If I then quit and relaunch, the Adress card tabs again can be selected. Would someone w/o StickyBrains kindly test this? As an inconclusive check, I used Activity Monitor to quit the StickyBrainService which removes the SB Finder menu bar icon and the ctrl key problem still exists in Ent 2004. Obviously it could still be a conflict with SB, just adding some data. >>> Recently Ent 2004 started exhibiting a disturbing bug.
