Long story short.
Logic board on my G5 iMac was dieing so I took in to the Apple Store for
replacement.
My other computer is a G3 Dual USB iBook. Both are running 10.4.4.
To move all my mailboxes, emails, addresses, etc., to the iBook, I moved
the "/Users/rgirou/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities"
folder from the G5 to the G3 iBook, first deleting the same folder from the
same spot in the G3.
I then launched Entourage, and you smart guys are going to know what
happened. It opened as if it had been just installed: no full in out
boxes, no emails, no addresses, no filled-in preferences, etc.
If anyone knows how to resolve this, a direct email to me would be a
godsend. A close colleague just died and it has fallen to me to email other
colleagues and friends from across the country and tell them of his funeral
arrangements. My unwise move could NOT have come at a worse time.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
BTW, I do have a full backup of the G5 and I can access it and move any
files I may need to move to the G3 to fix things.
