Thanks for answering, I have done all that and last time I now Barry said I had to do something with the daemon and I simply do not know what to do I feel such a fool. I now have so many entities and databases I know where nothing is and keep opening ancient lists of emails in my inbox. I dearly would love to know how I can consolidate them all and manage/archive them.
I wonder can you tell me how to avoid all those quote marks that appear when I hit the reply button, I have to remove them using the auto text cleanup remove quoting command but it does seem that there must be an easier way.
On another but related subject, I bought a new imac Intel yesterday (what a beauty) but when I tried to install Office 2004 the installation would not complete because the installer could not find a previous copy of Office. I have always paid for my software and I feel cheated that I cannot transfer what is essentially mine onto a new computer, any advice from any of your colleagues would be most helpful.

Hi Mike,

I’m sure Barry will get back here eventually and respond more thoroughly
than I but in the meantime, did you try going up to the Entourage menu and
clicking on Switch Identity?  Providing that your old identity is in the
same location in the Microsoft User Data (MUD) folder as the new blank one,
that should allow you to access it.
