I found out that the problem was in my Spotlight preference pane. Since searching email, contacts, and events wasn’t useful to me when Entourage wasn’t indexed, I had unchecked these options. I never rechecked them since their icons look like Mail, Address Book, and iCal.
Well, it turns out that, if these are unchecked, Spotlight won’t search Entourage email, contacts, and events either.
So, I rechecked them and results start showing up immediately.
I just thought someone else might be having this problem and need some help.
