Stuffit should, in my opinion, die. It has lived a nice life, fulfilled its purpose in its day. But that day has passed.
There are many other free cross-platform compression schemes. .zip is just one of them, probably the best choice not because it's necessarily the best, but because it is built-in to both OS X and XP. I don't see any reason to use Stuffit. I wish that Entourage would integrate .zip for its 'compress attachments' functionality. (NeXT's Mail.app used to automagically compress NeXTMail, its rich-text mail format it had in 1990 which is still superior, in many ways, to anything we have today.) -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
