I checked, via Activity Monitor, and the Microsoft Database Daemon is
on. This is what you mean when you say the Entourage Database Daemon, no??

I read through this one last night. I did this before bothering anyone
on the List with a request for help. Honestly...I try to solve my problems
myself and only post when I cannot do so.

Will check this one out and see if there is anything there that I've
missed.
Also, I re-indexed spotlight via Terminal to see if this might result in
the new cellphone number added to Entourage turning up in Address Book. It
did not.
