For years now, the MVP's and others on this list (including myself) have
advised people that, when wanting to send to a group of addressees without
any one recipient seeing any other recipient addresses, to send to yourself
only and bcc the rest. I certainly use this procedure regularly and I am
sure there are others who do the same. I would not classify it as "unusual"
at all.
