At this point I would recommend installing tcpflow: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/troubleshoot/tcpflow.html> (If you have an Intel Mac, I personally believe that it would be better to build it from source than to use the PowerPC binary available on the page) Once installed, run the following in Terminal: sudo /usr/local/bin/tcpflow -c host smtp.mac.com As long as you DON'T check the advanced sending option "SMTP service requires a secure connection (SSL)" the whole conversation with the .Mac SMTP server will be displayed in the Terminal window. If you need help deciphering the error at that point, send me a copy of the output or post it here. Just be sure to delete your password from the output. ;-) -Remo Del Bello -- "Advice is a dangerous gift, even from the wise to the wise, and all courses may run ill." - Gildor Inglorion in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
