How do I get forwarded email with animation on it to be still animated when I forward it to my friends? Whenever I forward it the animation disappears. Only the graphic remains.

Thunderbird email app will do what you want.

Apple Mail does it too.  Don’t know why Entourage does not.

The simple display engine that entourage normally uses will not animate a graphic. If, however, the graphic is embedded in a complex HTML document, then Entourage passes off the display to the Tasman rendering engine, which can animate a graphic image.

When you receive a complex HTML email and Tasman display  it with an animated graphic, if you then forward this email to someone, the new message needs to be opened for editing in a new window. This then restricts the new message to the less complex HTML styling that Entourage can generate. When the message is forwarded in this manner, the graphic will not animate.

The work-round is to forward the original message as an attachment (there is a command to do this in the message menu). Now, the recipient will receive the original message un-modified as an attachment and you get the chance to add your own comments to the body of your ‘;container’ message.
