We're preparing to migrate to Entourage soon. We have a very large
WAN, with many domain controllers around the country.
The Entrouage setup assistant is very good discovering our
environment, however I've noticed that the LDAP server it auto
discovers is different every time and is frequently not even a local
one, and east coast user may get a west coast LDAP server.
After configuration, if the specified LDAP server is unavailable;
does Entourage quietly find another one?
Also, if the Entourage account specifies a far away LDAP server, will
it always use that one even if one is available locally?
