As long as you include the http:// at the beginning, it will convert to a
proper hyperlink when sent or saved. (You wouldn't want it to do so when
composing/editing, since you'd never be able to finish typing the URL - it
would click to your browser as soon as you got to the second / slash.) If
you mean that you'd like to use a "display" textual hyperlink, get my script
"Make Hyperlinks X" at

Or if you're using Word 2004 as Barry recommended, just insert it there
(Insert menu or cmd-K).
