I put my G3 iBook, which has been working perfectly collecting and
sending email using my Gmail account in Entourage, next to my G5 and
compared Keychains.
I found this:
G5 had a Keychain entry that the G3 did not.
pop.gmail.com
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
pop://pop.gmail.com
Access control tab set for confirm before allowing access
Application: Entourage
Since I deleted this entry from Keychain and quit than opened Entourage,
all is working perfectly on the G5.
I have also learned, however, that a _lot_ of Gmail users are
experiencing this problem so I don't know if the Google folks fixed
something on their end or my deletion of this extra Keychain entry did it.
