Mine freezes at exactly midnight every night, for 13-20 seconds. Keystrokes are "stored" and after the app "unfreezes", they are all executed. I've also noticed it during the afternoon, but not at a repeatable time -- most likely I've only noticed the midnight occurrence b/c I try to send an email every night at that time. The rest of my apps are unaffected.
