Starting about 2 updates back (I use 11.2.5 now), I began getting 'Database is damaged messages'. The time I get them, predictably is several minutes after doing a 'rebuild'! I generally get 2 or 3, restarting Entourage each time (not rebuilding again, just restarting). Then the messages stop coming.
I do a rebuild only when I get some other strange message, for example, I try to open and email, it doesn't open, but an error no. appears. This does not happen often, less than once a week. However, when I do a rebuild, I can count on the 'damaged' message coming up a couple of times. Sometimes, I allow the message to trigger the utility, then do a verify only. When I do this, I get NO error from the Verify even tho I just got a 'damaged' message. Anyone else see this kind of behavior?
