You really don't need Word? You never have to send documents to people on Windows PCs? (Or do you just save docs from TextEdit in .doc or .rtf format?)
Nope, the only time I use it is if someone sends me text in a Word doc for import into Quark. And I do some animal rescue and most of the applications are in Word so I need to be able to open them. The Word I have from 2001 so far has done just fine.
