Dear Lista's

I'm running Entourage 2004, V11.2.5 (060620) using a Quicksilver 2001 Tower
and OS X 10.4.7. I have a POP Earthlink account and an IMAP DotMac account.

These problems have been with me for a while, but are increasing in
frequency and therefore frustration.

1. In my POP Earthlink account, I'll get all messages re-downloaded from the
server every few days -- then I have to go through and delete them (usually
about 700) from Entourage. This happened twice already today!

2. In my IMAP DotMac account, I don't always get mail downloaded when my
Send & Receive All schedule runs (every 5 minutes). Mail will go into my POP
Earthlink account, but then I'll get a message in the lower right hand
corner of the main window saying "checking for new messages" (or some such
words -- I didn't write them down exactly). This will continue until it
times out or I quit the program and restart it. Upon restarting, it will get
all emails properly.

These are both intermittent problems -- any ideas what is happening and how
to fix them?
